The CAD darn sure is! The appraisers or CTA sing the value song which the developers write for profit – raise values on paper when the little guy owns the property, force ‘em to sell, and when the big guys buy, give ‘em tax breaks....(click title link above for full piece).

Can you say Perry homes? How much did Mr. Perry spend on political ads for Tom ‘the Running Man’ DeLay. It is not just a GOP thing or a real estate thing. Corporate America has bought politicians from both sides of the political spectrum. Can you say K-Street? It is no longer ‘we the people’ but ‘them the corportations’. We only get to vote because corporations want us to have the feel that we have some power in their government. There needs to be an overall political reform in this country to change it back to ‘we the people’.

in estate valuing to enforce property owners to pay higher property taxes and

DEATH tax, leading to increasing in breaking the state 10% annual limit increase law, on valuing properties.
Enforcing owners
to pay more, thence selling their property to developers benefits and familiy dreams being lost. No place for officials voice to do something about it to correct the illegal problem, in appraisal accountablilty.
Didn't they raise the Arcola Heights values almost 3 fold?
