FB Star Reports: Once Again Missouri City Council Raises Taxes!

Just in from the FB Star. Once again Mayor Owen and Missouri City raise taxes on property owners in the city:

"The city also held a third because the proposed tax rate of $0.51724 exceeds the published effective tax rate of $0.47978. The maintenance and operations tax rate per $100 valuation is $0.35349 and the interest and sinking tax rate is $0.16375 for a total of $0.51724 per $100 valuation. The rollback tax rate is $0.51993."
