TEA finds no wrongdoing; Final report clears FBISD Trustees (New BOT)-

Following a three-month investigation by the Texas Education Agency of alleged governance violations by some Fort Bend Independent School District board of trustee members, the TEA has found that no allegations could be substantiated.

The final investigative report issued Jan. 6 reverses the TEA’s earlier finding that four of nine allegations had been substantiated.

“Based on the review of additional written information, the preliminary report is revised… (and) the Agency does not substantiate these allegations as reported in its preliminary findings,” said Ernest Zamora, TEA Associate Commissioner. . .

Wow. So much for the obstructionists in the Old Guard. This makes it very clear that the antics of Bain, Clarke and Knox were aimed at blocking the efforts of the new BOT members to bring accountability to FBISD. Wonder how the anti-accountability crowd will try to spin this development.

Those who sided with the former board and let the administration do what they pleased, will make excuses as they always have. More changes are still needed to raise student achievement.

There are three people that should be thinking long and hard about the quality time they caused my daughters to lose with their mother over the past several months while she had spend time dealing with these false accusations. While our family is more then happy to contribute time to assist in the betterment our community we should all hold accountable those that have lost focus on the purpose of public service and that misuse their positions within community.

Bain and the old guard should be held accountable for false reporting for political purposes on this. Doesn't Bain get contributions from the developer whose community he lives in? Some campaign finance reform is needed!

Check and mate...

Equally sad Bill is although two of the three should immediately resign now that their disruptive actions and odious intent have been exposed by the TEA, they won't. They have no shame. They will do whatever it takes to further their personal agendas no matter what the cost, no matter who they hurt, no matter how many lies have to be told. It's not about the betterment of FBISD or the children. It's about spurious self-interest.

Fortunately there is a remedy coming later this year...at the polls.
