Gang activity garners attention of Eastside Task Force

A shooting in a Missouri City restaurant parking lot leaves at least one teen injured.

Early Sunday morning about 12:30 a.m. a group of about 100 teens were on the grounds of the Denny’s restaurant on State Highway 6 near FM 1092 in Missouri City when shots ran out in the parking lot. According to police reports, a newer model SUV was parked in the back of the parking lot away from the bulk of the customers. Four other cars left the highway, entered the parking lot following one another, parade like, driving straight to the SUV in the back of the lot. Words were exchanged and an altercation erupted. . .
